He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Sutherland and Isabelle Sutherland; his wife Ola Mae Sutherland; his grandchildren, Keri C. Owen and Robert Evans; and his daughter Mary Chapman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheila Owen (Robert) and Beverly Evans (Larry); his grandchildren, Chris Owen (Abby), Matt Owen (Katy), Tracy Evans, Laura Dial (Steve), Mike Claiborne (Lynn) and Greg Claiborne (Zanna); his great grandchildren, Cameron, Parker, Alex, Sarah Grace, Brooks, Karcyn, Brianna, Ashtin, Cadence and Evelyn; and his great great grandchildren, Alayna and DeLuca.
