He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Rudolph and Mildred Kent Fain; his wife Shirley Ann Smith Fain; and his siblings, Kate Casteel, Mary Bailey and Arnold Rudolph Fain, Jr..
He is survived by: his son Lee Fain (Glenda); his stepdaughter Patricia Holt (Greg); and his sisters, Ruth Moudy (Bill) and Jenny Blake (Herman). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
