She is survived by: her husband Melvin Clarence Mitchell, Sr.; her daughters, Dinah Mitchell-Brown (Jim) of Nashville, Wanda Mitchell Barnes (Phil) of Franklin and Judy Mitchell Barnette (Rick) of Franklin; her grandchildren, Kelly Barnes Weaver (Brandon) of Nolensville, Kimberly Barnes Wright (Drew) of Spring Hill, McKenzie Barnette Schumpert (Grant) of Birmingham, AL, Haley Barnette of Franklin and Faith Mitchell of Fayetteville; her great grandchildren, Hutch Weaver, Anniston Weaver of Nolensville and Magnolia Wright of Spring Hill; and her sister Vicky Counts Taylor (Edward) of Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in her name to the Mitchell Memorial Fund at Stewarts Chapel Baptist Church, Flintville, TN or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
