He was predeceased by: his mother Clara Virginia Smith Rutledge. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Duke Rutledge of Flintville; and his daughter Vicki Stout (Paul) of Anderson, SC. He is also survived by two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
