She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thomas and Bessie Lou Mearse Steele; and her siblings, Nancy Steele and George Steele, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Tracy Jett, Jason Jett and Mason Jett; and her siblings, Wanda Gomez and Andrew Mearse. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
