He was predeceased by: his parent Robert Owens; his daughter Felica Nicole Owens; and his siblings, Emma Jean Ward, David Owens, Michael Owens and Joe Owens.
He is survived by: his parent Opal Scott Owens; his wife Virginia Owens of Flintville, TN; his children, Jennifer Whitsett (Paul) of Flintville, TN, Lindy Banks of Flintville, TN, Amy Lynn Owens of Louisiana, Don Owens (April) of Winchester, TN and Jimmy Banks (Kim) of Flintville, TN; and his siblings, Sharon Kimbrell (Doug) of Estill Springs, TN and Larry Owens (Frances) of Florida. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
