With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester Rice of Flag Pond, Tennessee, who passed away on May 7, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Landon and Elva Mae Rice (Randolph); his wife Vicki Rice; his granddaughter Brittany Gentry; his great grandchild Preston Rice; and his siblings, Orville Rice, Lonnie Rice, DJ Rice and Agnes Price.
He is survived by: his brothers, Foreman and Highway Maintenance; his children, Jeff Rice (Kayla), Keith Rice (Tina), Tina Balthis (Buck), Teresa Scott (Chris), Alicia Shelton (James) and Tabitha McCurry (John); his siblings, Angie Shelton (Allen) of Florida and Charles Rice (Fuschie); his grandchildren, Mark Rice, Aleigha Hamilton, Amy Chase, Trey Balthis, Vanessa McCurry, Briana Gentry, Tessa McCurry, Jasmine Shelton, Levi McCurry, Ashlee Shelton, Landon Scott, Christopher Shadrick, Thomas Shelton, Candy Scott and Mason Rice; and his great grandchildren, Kaeson Hamilton, VictoriaVonglis, Hunter Rice, Faith Ann Rice, Colton Chase and Lucas Chase. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
