He was predeceased by: his parents, Burleson Hensley and Doris Shelton; and his grandson Johnathan Shelton. He is survived by: his wife Sherry King; his children, Jason Shelton of Erwin and Kayla Shelton of Flag Pond; and his sister Brenda Figgins of Erwin. He is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Robert Ledford Funeral Home and Chapel (720 Ohio Ave, Erwin, TN 37650). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the King Family Cemetery.
