She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Brent Anthony Griggs; her children, Benjamin Mattox (Tiffany), Bill Mattox (Shalee), John Griggs (Kimmy), Jason Griggs, Shawn Griggs and Madison Griggs (Ryan McRary); her siblings, Howard Wayne Burrow, Hettie Maynard (James), Shirley Maynard and Kotarba (Mike); her brothers-in-law, Rich Griggs (Denise), Brant Griggs and Jerry Griggs; her father-in-law Gerald Griggs; her grandchildren, Miller, Moxson, Maelee, Elena, Marilyn, Valor and Zoey; her parents, William Howard Burrow and Lena Mae Johnson Burrow; her sister Lena Annette Burrow; and her mother-in-law Gwen Griggs.
