He is survived by: his wife Joan Howell of Finley, TN; his children, Kelly Rynae Howell of Newbern, TN and Douglas Lee Howell, Jr. (Donna) of Dyersburg, TN; his grandchildren, Cassie Gillespie (Jason), Levi Seaton (Ali), Joshua Howell and Alexander Howell; and his great grandchildren, Bailey, Bentley Seaton, Maisy Copeland, Phoenix Seaton, Aeralyn Gillespie and Iris Gillespie.
