It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Derrick Mearse of Fayetteville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rubin Jefferson Mearse and LaBrenda Jean Sullivan; and his grandparents, John, Alda George Mearse, James and Thelma Curry Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Angela Mearse; his daughters, Crystal LaShay Mearse and Natasha Jade Mearse; his grandchildren, Tanner Lee Baker and Delilah Skye Baker; his siblings, Detra Payne (Freeman), Dalana Beeles (Matt), Darron Mearse (Lena) and Dee Mearse; his aunts and uncles, Darlean Sullivan (David), Karon Weatherman (Chuck), Gayre Jean, Nyle Jean (Cindy) and Dane Jean; his cousins, Devin Sullivan and Lisa Atchley; and his pets, Stonewall, Bugs, Arya, Austin and Bella. He is also survived by niece and nephews.
