He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend A. C. Mastin and Katie Ruth Hedgspeth Mastin; and his siblings, Girtie Lee Mastin, A. C. Mastin, Jr., Anthony Mastin and Stella L. Mastin Barnett.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Sue Anderson Mastin; his children, Lauren C. Mastin of Fayetteville, TN and AnToney Mastin of Fayetteville, TN; his stepchildren, Devona Simms of Fayetteville, TN, LaToya Taylor (DaLacey) of Fayetteville, TN, Marcus Walker of Huntsville, AL and Brandon Walker (Jashon) of Fayetteville, TN; and his siblings, Rosemary Frazier of Nashville, TN, Jacqueline Carmichael (Craig) of Fayetteville, TN, Michael E. Mastin (Brenda) of Fayetteville, TN, Randy G. Mastin (Rose) of Columbus, MS and Timothy R. Mastin (Dereatha) of Fayetteville, TN. He is also survived by four aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
