He is survived by: his wife Bessie Hampton of Fayetteville, TN; his children, Thomas Barry Hampton (Monique) of Fayetteville, TN, Sherry Ann Hampton of Fayetteville, TN, Benita Kay Hampton of Fayetteville, TN and Michael Rodney Hampton (Tomorrow) of Petersburg, TN; his siblings, John Henry Hampton (Racheal) of Fayetteville, TN, James Hampton of Fayetteville, TN, Bernettia Steward (Herbert L.) of Shelbyville, TN, Mattie Edmiston (Earnest) of Fayetteville, TN and Theodora Edmiston of Nashville, TN; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Parks. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
