She was predeceased by: her parents, Jordon Dennis and Tinnie Ruby Shadrick Dennis; her husband Columbus "Gumby" Lincoln Eakes; and her children, Leon, Dwight, Jeff, Larry, Danny, Barbara Ann Eakes, Linda Faye Bailey and Tammy Ruth Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Jo Clark, Jeraldine Alford, Diane Sells (Ricky) and David Eakes.
