He was predeceased by: his father Larry Massey; and his sister Beth Massey. He is survived by: his wife Susan Massey; his mother Joyce Sanders Massey; his children, Steven Massey (Amanda) of Lenoir and Melissa Good (David) of Fayetteville; his sister Vicki Massey of Murfreesboro; and his grandchildren, Eli Dunn, J. J. McGee of Jude Massey, D. C, Lyrik Massey, Gracie Good and Angel Poole.
