We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2025, at the age of 82, Sam Morris of Fayetteville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gruder Lowell Morris and Jennie Wood Morris Drake; his sons, Terry Lee Morris and Michael Thomas Morris; and his sisters, Brenda Kay Hammrick and Wanda Carol Wilmoth.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Hartwell Morris of Charleston; his children, Amber Morris Jones of Charleston, Samuel Morris, Jr. (Toueria) of Fayetteville and Donald Morris (Carolyn) of Edmond, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Samuel Morris III (Britney), Mallory Morris Phillips (Jason), Stephen Kyle Morris, Chander Morris, Jacob Morris, Liam Morris, Parker Morris, Max Jones and Lydia Jones. He is also survived by five great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Carter Hills Cemetery (750 Old Railroad Bed Rd, Taft, TN 38488).
