He was predeceased by: his son Richard Kitchens; and his granddaughter Cindy. He is survived by: his wife Paula Lindsey Kitchens of Fayetteville; and his children, Lee Kitchens (Sally) of Indiana, Dawn Lechner (Vernon) of Baltimore and Melissa Harper (Mark) of Baltimore. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
