He was predeceased by: his mother Marjorie McGee; his uncle Jess Ventress; his aunt Annie D. Ventress; and his brothers, John Butler McGee and Tom McGee.
He is survived by: his wife Bennie McGee; his daughter Cheryl McGee; his grandchildren, Jesse Walker and Savannah McGee; and his great grandchild Bryant McGee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
