He was predeceased by: his mother Brenda Posey (Poteete); his son Austin Lee Posey; his brother David Allen Posey; and his grandparents, Odell and Joe T. Poteete.
He is survived by: his father Robert Lee Posey Sr.; his wife Linsey Posey; his children, Zachary Posey, Ciji Posey, Gianna Posey, Landin Burciaga, Loggan Burciaga, Lukus Burciaga, Layton Posey and Lexie Posey; his grandchildren, River Posey, Chase Posey and Aiden Posey; his brother Tyson Posey; his aunt Linda Smith; and his parents-in-law, James and Wanda Riddle. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
