He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Scott and David Vaughn. He is survived by: his sister Ann Fountain; and his son Robert Danley Vaughn II. He is also survived by 4 granddaughters, and 1 great-grandson, along with several friends.
Due to the unfortunate circumstances of COVID-19, the family is not able to hold an in person service at Robert's home church at First Baptist, but instead asks that people will continue to remember this faithful servant of God in their thoughts and prayers.
