He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Perry and Bessie Harrison Perry; his wife Mildred J. Perry; and his siblings, James Perry, Betty McCollum and Nancy Tidwell.

He is survived by: his children, Regina Jacobs (Glen), Dr. Jack Perry, Robert Perry (Kay), Brian Jarrell and Christopher Jarrell (Amy); his siblings, Linda Phelps and Mack Perry (Kathy); and also Daphne. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.
