Peggy McGee Carter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy McGee Carter of Fayetteville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 30, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie McGee and Mattie Faulkner McGee; her husband Calvin Carter; her siblings, Ruth McGee Curtis and Walter McGee; and her children, Kimberly Gayle Colbert and Earl Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Colbert (Terri) and Tana Colbert; her stepdaughter Melinda McCord (Ricky); her granddaughter Tiffany Colbert (Tara); her stepgrandchildren, Zach McCord and Jessie McCord; and her great grandchild Grady Colbert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Prospect Cemetery (27 E Prospect Rd, Fayetteville, TN 37334).
