She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Everett and Beulah Christine Cooper Burton; her brothers, Jackie Burton, Charlie Burton, Bob Burton and Larry Burton; her stepmother Josie Burton; and her stepbrothers, Leonard Williams, James Williams Jerry Williams and Dwight Williams.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas Cowan; her children, Cathy Thompson, Kim Renfroe (Billy), Benny Swinford and Steven Cowan; her grandchildren, Jonathan Thompson, Jared Thompson, Devin Renfroe (Hannah), Skylar Renfroe (Emily), Slade Swinford (Mariana), Tori Swinford, Aiden Cowan and Austin Cowan; her great grandchildren, Addi Thompson, Eli Thompson, Gage Swinford and River Renfroe; her stepsister Judy Hurt (Johnny); and her sisters-in-law, Viola Burton and Lillian Burton.
