It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Pigg of Fayetteville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Orr and Bernice Pack Orr; her husband Ernest "Bill" Pigg; her daughter Donna Pigg Smith; and her siblings, Carline Polly, Milton Orr and Carroll Orr.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Missy Smith, Corey Smith (Stephanie) and Christie Smith; her great grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Savanah Veal, Austin Smith, Damien Smith and Kynlee Smith; her great great grandchild Anakin Smith; her sisters, Gail Swenson and Pamela Comstock; and also Shelby Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and loving friends.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Riverview Memorial Gardens (119 Curtis-Askins Blvd, Fayetteville, TN 37334).
