It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Jane Sims of Fayetteville, Tennessee, born in Huntsville, Alabama, who passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Prince Whatley; her daughter Rachael Sims; her sister Sally Hill Gunn; and her parents, Leo Hill of Huntsville and Gertrude Hill of Huntsville.

She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Whatley Saile; her son-in-law Jeff; her granddaughter Elizabeth Saile of Dallas; her daughter Jennie Whatley of Florida; her sisters, Diane Henry and Judy Key (Barry) of Huntsville; her siblings-in-law, Wallace Whatley Jr. and Carol Adams Whatley of Auburn; and her cousins, Mike Maples of Huntsville and James Wakefield of Anniston.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
