We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2019, at the age of 87, Mary L Tipps (Fayetteville, Tennessee), born in Corbin, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Jarat and Cora Mae Hall Ford; her husband Rufus Jackson "Jack" Tipps; and her daughters, Gloria Diane Tipps Bradford, Jackie Lynn Tipps Pittenger and Carol Lee Tipps Frederick.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Susan Bradford Nix of Fayetteville, Angela "Angie" Bradford of Fayetteville and Erica Lynn Pittenger Edwards of Chesapeake, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Bradford Key Nix, Travis James Edwards and Zack Thomas Edwards; her siblings, Henry Ford (Merrill), David Ford (Brenda), Conley Ford (Mary), Nona Ford Nutter (Bob) and Ann Ford Bradburn (Gene); and her sons-in-law, Ricky Bradford (Donna) of Fayetteville, Ricky Pittenger (Mary) and Steve Frederick (Gina) of Richmond. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in her honor to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 783 Old Hickory Blvd, #300 W, Brentwood, TN 37027.
