She is survived by: her children, Melissa Elliott (Steve), Eric Hammond (Kay), Chris Hammond (Kathy) and Myra Blankenship (Mike); her daughter-in-law Anita Wheeler Hammond; and her brother Jackie Harred (Pat).
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Moon Cemetery (352 Cave Spring Rd, Owens Cross Roads, AL 35763).
