She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Hampton and Sallie Eddins Hampton; and her brothers, Joe Lewis Hampton and Oscar Hampton, Jr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Joyce Buchanan (David), Katherine Porter (Jerry), Willie Donald Hampton (Wilma), Cecil Hampton, Lawrence Hampton (Narlane), Robert Hampton (Thelma Jean) and Sammy Hampton (Marilyn). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
