It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Murdock Adams of Fayetteville, Tennessee, born in Petersburg, Tennessee, who passed away on January 23, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jackson Murdock and Mary Lizzie Jones Murdock; her husband Alfred Wynn Adams; her sons, Jim, Gordon Adams and Byron Wynn Adams; and her siblings, Jean Dyer, Frances Cater, Elizabeth Owen and John William Murdock.
She is survived by: her son Alton Wayne Adams (Jane) of Hilton Head, SC; her daughter-in-law Reba Adams of Fayetteville, TN; her sister-in-law Mary Sue Talley Murdock of Petersburg, TN; her grandchildren, Kristy Parkerson, Melanie Adams, Chris Adams, Debbie Logan and Vickie Carter; her great grandchildren, Spring Brindley, Crystal Widner, Adam Carter, Seth Adams, Zackary Payne and Joseph Payne; and her great great grandchildren, Cara Widner, Gavin Widner, Cooper Widner, Grayson Widner, Callie Rae Widner, Emory Brindley, Addison Carter and Collin Carter.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Senior Center or the Washington Street Church of Christ.
