She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bud" and Mable Ables (Harbin); her husband Robert N. Edwards, Sr.; her siblings, James, Leon, Marvin, Frank, Minnie Ruth, Catherine, Katie Sue and Liz "Polly"; and her son Robert "Bobby" N. Edwards, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Benny Edwards of Fayetteville, David Edwards of Davie, Tommy Edwards (Wendy) of Spring Hill, Dr. Bill Edwards (Amy) of Fayetteville, Allison Greene (Jim Henry) of Huntland and Betty Knott (Richard) of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, James Robert (Ariel), Nathan, Sofia, Faith, Annabelle, Jared, Alex, Rhiannon, Shelly Phillips (Perry) and Shannon Nixon (Troy); and her great grandchildren, Emily Stringer and Chace Nixon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In light of COVID-19, there will be no prior visitation.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter or Lincoln County Genealogy Society.
