He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee Smith and Lona Mae Painter; his stepfather Milton Painter; his siblings, Janet Mae Smith, Sherry Ann Long and Danny Ray Smith; and his brother-in-law Larry Long.
He is survived by: his brother Roger Smith (Patsy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home (508 W College St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
