He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Simmons, Tammie Simmons, Kendra Ann Simmons (Eric Frederick) and Hollie Simmons; his grandchildren, Candace, Micah Vincent and Shane Alan Guffey, II; his great grandchild Ethan Wade Vincent; and his siblings, Joyce Simmons, Evelyn, Temple Lackey, Linda Simmons, Joe (Melba Simmons), Frank Simmons and Thomas Simmons.
