He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Edward Monks and Ruby Isabelle Rogers Monks; and his sisters, Rebecca Shrum and Marie Medley. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Monks; and his siblings, Rachel Rutledge (Ben), Rogers Monks (Patricia) of Fayetteville, TN and Mark Monks (Brenda) of Fayetteville, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
