He is survived by: his mother Bettye Mitchell Gann Scott (Mitchell); his stepfather Virgil Scott; his brother Jacob Gann; his stepsiblings, Darrel Scott and Brenda Carey; and his cousins, Mary and Jerry Clark. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
