He was predeceased by: his father Earl Speck; and his brother Anthony Pigg. He is survived by: his mother Irene V. Staggs; his wife Mary H. Speck; his stepdaughters, Ty Jones (Mickey) and Cindy Brewer (Dennis); his sister Debbie Bryant; his stepgrandchildren, Jeremy Yates, Mandy Brewer, Tiffany Mitchell (Zack) and Daniel Cox (Stephanie); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Koletyn Williams, Kimber Mitchell, Caroline Mitchell, Emma Cox and Ensley Cox.
