It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Jean of Fayetteville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his sister LaBrenda Jean Sullivan. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Atchley of Taft, TN and James Jean, Jr. (Sarah) of Meridianville, AL; his grandchildren, Crystal Suggs (Brad), Logan Atchley (Bayleigh) and Braysen Jean; his great grandchildren, Harrison Suggs and Hensley Suggs; and his siblings, Darlean Sullivan (David), Karon Weatherman (Charles), Dane Jean and Nyle Jean (Cindy).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home (508 W College St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
