He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin Clanton and Mae Margaret Emmons; his wife Brenda Emmons of Fayetteville, TN; his son Gary D. Emmons (Tonia) of Christiana, TN; his grandchildren, Tionne Emmons and Ayden Emmons; his siblings, Denoris Epps of Harvest, AL, Harriet Clark (Robert) of Huntsville, AL, Karen Leslie of Huntsville, AL, David Leslie of Toney, AL and Tyrone Clanton of Tullahoma, TN; and his siblings-in-law, Sherry Maxwell and Patrick Reynolds (Annie). He was also cherished by two aunts, one uncle; and a host of nieces, nephews and one great niece.
