He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred L. Holder, Sr. and Eva Odell Self Holder; his sister Patsy Burrows (James); and his nephew Michael Burrows. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ruth Beddingfield Holder; his sons, Bret Holder (Tracy) and Bart Holder (Lisa); his grandchildren, Brittani Holder, John Holder and Ben Holder; and his brother Jerry Holder (Doris).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kirkland Baptist Church Youth Fund, 655 Ardmore Hwy, Taft, TN 38488.
