She was predeceased by: her parent Willie Taylor; her husband Ed Alfred Franklin, Sr; her daughter Cathy Mae Franklin; and her siblings, Marie Wilbanks, Rachel Dunnavant and Melvin Robinson.
She is survived by: her parent Flossie Lou Locke Robinson; her children, Mary Fralix (Johnny) of Pulaski, TN, Patricia Fralix (Billy) of Pulaski, TN, Lorrie Gardner (Terry) of Knox, IN, Alfred Franklin (Carol) of Lewisburg, TN and Ed Franklin, Jr. of Fayetteville, TN; and her brother Leon Robinson of Shelbyville, TN. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
