She is survived by: her children, Lorinda Scott of West Virginia, Johnny Thompson (Melody) of Fayetteville, TN, Marshall Thompson of Clearwater, FL, Grady Thompson (Lisa) of Athens, AL and Darrell Thompson (Gena Rosa) of San Jose, CA; and her brothers, William Burns (Johnetta) of North Carolina and John Burns (Virginia) of Michigan. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
