He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Pirtle and Elma Green Pirtle. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Gulley Pirtle of Fayetteville; his children, Chris Pirtle (Karen) of Hazel Green, Carmen Breedlove (Billy) of Shelbyville, Dana Pirtle of Fayetteville, Matthew Crowell of Tullahoma and Jeremy Olinger of Texas; and his brother Floyd M. Pirtle of Georgia. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
