He was predeceased by: his parents, William Douglas and Lucille Boles Sharp; and his sisters, Jean Thompson, Vernell Moorehead and Glennis Pack.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sharp; his sons, Barry Sharp of Kelso, TN, Craig Sharp of Kelso, TN and Wade Sharp (Stephanie) of Atlanta, GA; his siblings, Rachel Kelly (Wendel) of Huntsville, AL, Gladys Vernon (Bill) of Hazel Green, AL, Edith Mitchell (Harold) of Hazel Green, AL, Enith Collins of Elora, TN and Larry Sharpe (Gloria) of Spring Hill, FL; his grandchildren, Katrina Dixon, Brandy Edmiston, Dusty Sharp, Blake Sharp and Haley Sharp; and his great grandchildren, Skiya Edmiston, Khiya Edmiston, Cherish Edmiston, Bentley Edmiston, Shayla Dixon and Morgan Sharp.
