It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David McCord Parrish of Fayetteville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clute Parrish and Gladys Parrish; and his siblings, Charles Parrish (Jane), Bob Parrish (Betty) and Sally Kate Parrish.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Sue Ann Acosta (Carlyle) and David W Parrish (Paula); and his grandchildren, Anna Snyder (Steve), Nicholas Acosta (Ashley), Caroline Acosta, Rachael Parrish (Jay) and Katya Parrish.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Family Funeral Care (4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Memphis Memory Gardens (6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN 38134).
