He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus A. Fannin and Rutha B. Fannin; and his siblings, Rufus Fannin, Jr, Perlman Fannin, DeWayne Fannin (Vietnam), Barton Fannin, Alice Branham, Etna Branham, Esta Lou Bowling, Bernice Brazil and Ruth Rodden.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline; his children, Brenda Baker (Ken) of Fayetteville, GA, Edwin Fannin (Dardie) of Shelbyville, TN and Robert Fannin of Atlanta, GA; and his grandchildren, Dawn, Tiffany, Daril and David. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; three brothers.
