As we bid Clifford farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Clifford is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Nelson and Faye Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Melodie Nelson; and his stepchildren, Tim Stoner, Johnny Stoner, Tonya Stoner, Joe Stoner (Dana) and Jeff Stoner (Brittany). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home (508 W College St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that friends please consider sending sympathy cards or gift cards/baskets.
