He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Wilson and Florene Wilson of Jacksonville, Florida.; and his wife Bette Jean Whitaker Wilson. He is survived by: his son Charlton "Chip" Wilson Jr.; and his granddaughter Katelyn Wilson.
