He is survived by: his wife Juanell McBrayer Self; his children, Susan Self Roberts, Mike Self (Resa) and Greg Self (Hortensia); his grandchildren, Sarah Trimm (Hugh), Jamey Roberts III (Whitney), Rachel Levi (Avi), Joseph Roberts (Michelle), Maria Self, Gregory Self and Daniel Self; his great grandchildren, Quinn and Gareth Roberts; his grandchildren, Shaylee, Jackson Roberts, Shon, Milan, Jesse and Kai Levi; his siblings, C. D. Self (Jean) and Katherine Self Little; and his siblings-in-law, Ginger Teal Self, Howard McBrayer (Tracie) and Margie McBrayer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
