He was predeceased by: his father Carl McAlister; and his grandparents, Betty, Dewayne McAlister, Wilson Taylor and Linda Bailey.

He is survived by: his mother Aleshia Taylor Boshers (Jeff); his wife Heather McAlister; his children, Taylor McAlister, Lizzy and Bella McAlister; and his siblings, Alex McAlister and Bethanie McAlister. He is also survived by father to his 3 children.
