She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Thomas Coleman and Ora Lee Roland Coleman; her husband Robert Patterson; her daughter Lisa Patterson; and her siblings, Virginia Hopecroft, Margaret Palmer, Billy David Coleman and Jerry Neal Coleman.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara (Scotty), Bly of Fayetteville, TN, Janice Douglas of Hazel Green, AL and J. R. Zeir of Pennsylvania; her siblings, Susie Patton of Roanoke, VA, Betty Stewman (Eddie) of Huntland, TN, William Coleman of Greenville, NC and Edward Lee Holt of Roxboro, NC; her granddaughter Monica Reed; her great grandchildren, Makenzie, Bailey Reed, Chevy Jarrett and Aaron William Leo Dowdy; and her pets, Jasper, Zoey and Rosie.
