She was predeceased by: her father Ernest Thornburg; her husband William Hanner Hudson; and her siblings, Harold Thornburg and Christine Smith. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Hooper (Ty), Karen Hudson, William Hudson (Karen) and Mark Hudson; her granddaughter Erin Williams; and her siblings, Mary Ann McGraw, Linda Dunn and John Thornburg.
